Nematodes against fungus gnats (Steinernema feltiae)

Do you have those tiny black flies buzzing around your houseplants? These are fungus gnats (also known as sciarid flies). They may seem small and harmless, but their larvae can cause serious damage to the roots of your plants. Our natural approach works quickly and precisely, without chemical agents. Steinernema feltiae nematodes actively seek out the larvae in the potting soil and neutralise them effectively.\nWhat is in the packet?\nNematodes (Steinernema feltiae): microscopically small, but mighty in action.\nBiodegradable carrier material: gentle on plant and planet.\nWhen to use nematodes against fungus gnats?\nYou can control fungus gnats all year round. Best results are achieved at temperatures between 10 and 25 °C. The potting soil may be nicely moist, so the nematodes can move well and infect and kill the larvae.\nHow to use nematodes:\nMake the concentrate: Mix the required amount of nematodes with 1 litre of lukewarm water and stir well.\nDilute: Take part of the concentrate according to the packaging and top up to 10 litres of water.\nApply: Pour the mixture generously into the potting soil of your houseplants.\nAftercare: Keep the soil lightly moist for at least two weeks so the nematodes keep working.\nTips for success:\nUse nematodes preferably immediately after receipt. Storing? Keep cool (4-8 °C) and use within a week. Once dissolved in water? Apply immediately!\nUse clean, lukewarm water without fertilisers, soap residues or other additives.\nOverdosing is not possible: nematodes are natural controllers that cause no harm, even if you use a little too many.\nStill seeing fungus gnats after two weeks?
