For best results, sow grass at temperatures between 15 and 25°C. The ideal period for oversowing grass or repairing bare patches is from March to October.\n\nPrepare your lawn for sowing: remove dead grass, moss and weeds. Scarifying is good preparation.\nSow evenly: spread 20 grams of grass seed per square metre. Use a hand spreader or seed spreader and work in two directions for a nice even result.\nPress the seeds down lightly: use a rake, roller or board to gently press the grass seed down for good contact with the soil.\nKeep the soil moist: water regularly, preferably several short watering sessions per day. Prevent water from washing away or forming puddles.\n\nTip: Mix in an organic soil improver in the top layer for extra fast root growth.\nLawn care after sowing Repair & Restore\nMow the grass for the first time when it is about 6–8 cm high. Do not mow too short so that the young grass can adjust to the impact of mowing.\nFeed your lawn three times a year with a lawn fertiliser that suits the season and nutritional needs of the grass. Spread lime annually to maintain the acidity level. This prevents moss and encourages healthy growth of your lawn.
